When you get to Kom Ombo, our tour guide who sails with the ship will escort you and a small group of our other clients to see the remarkable Kom Ombo Temple which was dedicated to two different gods. One half was dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god, while the other half was dedicated to Horus who is depicted as a human with the head of a falcon. After your stop at Kom Ombo, the vessel will then begin sailing to Edfu, with a good lunch being served along the way. When you reach Edfu, your tour guide will then escort you and the other member of your group to see Edfu Temple which is also known as Horus Temple. This is Egypt’s best-preserved ancient temple, thanks to the fact that it got buried beneath the sand and remained that way for about 2,000 years. Next, you will return to the ship, and it will then begin sailing to Esna. Enjoy afternoon tea along the way, followed by another go dinner on board the vessel in the evening. Valley of the Kings is an ancient royal burial ground where more than 60 tombs were discovered, including the tomb of King Tutankhamun which was discovered still sealed and intact in the early 20th century by Howard Carter. Nearly all of the artifacts and treasures which were discovered in his tomb are on display in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, but a few remain in his tomb, along with his mummy. An admission ticket for his tomb is not included in the price of our Cairo to Abu Simbel Tour package . The reason for this is that those who wish to enter his tomb are required to purchase their tickets at the site. Also, only a certain amount of visitors are allowed each day, and queues tend to start forming very early in the morning. After your West Bank excursion, Once your West Bank excursion is over, your tour guide will accompany you back to the cruise ship and the remainder of the day will be yours to enjoy as you wish. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Note: The 3 tombs visited in the Valley of Kings are determined by the Egyptian Government to preserve them from the large flow of visitors. Therefore, they are rotated throughout the year and cannot be confirmed as to which tombs before your visit. (the ticket includes the visit to 3 tombs excluding the Tomb of King Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramses The Six).

Day 06: East Bank & Fly back to Cairo

Enjoy one last breakfast on the cruise ship, you will then be taken to visit another two spectacular ancient sites located on the Luxor East Bank. First, you will visit Karnak Temple, and then you will visit Luxor Temple. Karnak Temple was essentially a vast complex of temples and other related structures that grew for more than 2,000 years. Although only ruins remain, there is just so much to see here in what is believed to be the largest place of worship ever discovered. and then it will be time for check-out and disembarkation.
